On Friday, Year One went on a trip to Banham Zoo to learn more about our Africa topic and to see some wonderful animals. We were so fortunate that the weather stayed dry and that we were able to see every animal in the whole zoo!
We also saw a baby camel who was only 4 days old! It was quite wobbly on it’s legs.
We were lucky enough to see some of the zoo staff training the sea lions. They were very impressive.
We were very brave during our workshop at the zoo and stroked and held different animals from Africa. We learnt more about the habitats of these different animals. It was very interesting!
We were brilliantly behaved and the adults were very proud of us. Well done Year Ones! What a fantastic trip!
