The festival of light Nursery have learnt how Diwali is celebrated. We have danced, created Rangoli patterns and made diva lamps.


Autumn Pumpkins!

We were able to explore an autumn vegetable this week as part of our Food and Celebrations topic. An adult helped us cut open the pumpkin and taught us about how it grows in the ground. Then we scooped out the seeds to plant more. It was so much fun!


Spooky Lunch

Nursery open a shoe shop

This week we have learnt the story of ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’. It has helped us learn about size and practise counting to three. Yesterday we cooked porridge and ate it all up! Just like Goldilocks!


Mysterious footprints!

Matilda visits Nursery

Nursery enjoyed a visit from Matilda the tortoise today. We learnt about what a tortoise needs and eats. Matilda also enjoyed a dunk in the water to cool off.


Nursery harvest potatoes

Nursery have been super busy on our allotment this year. Today it was time to harvest our potatoes and we were excited and surprised to find so many! We can’t wait to eat them later 😊
