Year 1 Family Lunch

Today was the turn for the Year 1 parents and carers to join their children for lunch. On the menu today Chicken or Quorn spaghetti ranch bake with a homemade onion bread. Once again lots of lovely comments were made.


Year one have been getting creative!

This week we decided to make a treasure island by looking carefully at the human and physical features you might find; including rocks, ships and palm trees. We used our Enterprise skills to solve problems, make decisions and work together to create the island, the Enterprise characters were very impressed!


Reception Family Lunch

Today was our busiest family lunch. We had 43 parents and carers sign up to join their children. Today on the menu we had roast chicken or a quorn fillet both served with all the trimmings. Thank you to all the parents and carers who came today and for the lovely positive comments


Yummy Smoothies

  After reading Handa’s Surprise we chopped different fruit to make a smoothie. We added pineapple, mango, bananas and orange juice.


Colours of the sea

Jewish Visitors

This week we welcomed two visitors from Norwich Synagogue into our school to teach us all about Judaism. We learnt all about their day of rest and how they welcome in Shabbat. It was very interesting and we learnt such a lot!


Year 2 Family Lunch

Today the Year 2 parents and carers were invited to join their children for lunch. Today the kitchen prepared a special ‘Star Wars’ menu which included Light Saber chipolatas, Chewbacca curly fries, BB8 baked beans and amazing Yoda jacket potatoes. The lunch received lots of lovely comments.

Look what we found! This week in Year One we discovered an old compass near our school pirate ship. We decided to open it to look inside and found the name E.Teach. We began to investigate and we think it belonged to a famous pirate known as Captain Blackbeard. I wonder how it got there…


Fundraising Event

Children were invited to enter our competition to design an Easter Egg. We had so many wonderful entries it was very hard to choose the winners. Well done to everyone who handed in such colourful and detailed designs. We have raised £35 for Children with Cancer Uk. Here are our happy prize winners!

In Otter Class we have been following instructions to make delicious Easter nest cakes! In our teams we became problem solvers to work out what ingredients we needed and what we had to do. We used bossy verbs such as mix, stir and break. The cakes tasted as good as they look…
