Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

We are very proud our vibrant school community, where diversity, inclusion, and social justice are integral components of our children’s educational and social experience. We take pride in fostering an environment that celebrates the unique contributions of every student, recognising that diversity is not just a characteristic of our community, but a strength that enriches the learning experience for all, helping to prepare all our children for life in modern Britain.

Our commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice is rooted in our distinctly Christian ethos. The teachings of Christ inspire us to love our neighbours as ourselves, fostering a sense of community that embraces differences. We believe that by embracing diversity and advocating for justice, we live out the principles of Christian love and compassion.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be responsive to the diverse needs of our students and celebrate diverse cultures and backgrounds. We believe in the power of education to empower and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. By tailoring our curriculum to embrace diversity, we ensure that each student sees themselves reflected in their learning experience.

We work closely with the Diocese of Norwich to support us in our work, particularly within the area of Racial Justice. The Principles of racial and social justice have incorporated into our curriculum and our teaching staff foster critical thinking skills and nurture empathy to prepare students to be compassionate and informed global citizens. Difficult conversations can be challenging and therefore we create a safe environment where these can take place, so to support our young learners.
